What is the Law of Attraction?
The Law of Attraction is a philosophical principle that explains how each individual creates creates the life in which they live. Another way of saying this is it explains how we create our reality here on earth. The law of attraction is based on the principle that what we ask, via thoughts, words and feelings, we receive. The Law of Attraction is multi-faceted but is best explained in 3 simple concepts:
1. Ask
2. Allow
3.Receive
When you ask, the universe/god/higher source automatically answers and you receive. The extent to which you experience this request in your physical reality is directly proportional to the extent that you allow it. You allow by believing and trusting.
Another way to explain the Law of Attraction is that it simply states you are the creator of your own reality and in so much as you allow what you ask for to appear in your life, that will be the extent to which it unfolds in your reality. (Read more about the Law of Attraction)
What is Qigong Meditation?
Qigong (also spelled chi gong or chi kung) is an ancient Chinese health system of healing and energy medicine. Qigong is a system practiced for health maintenance, healing and increasing vitality. It is the art and science of using breathing techniques, gentle movement, and meditation to cleanse, strengthen, and circulate qi. Regular Qigong practice leads to better health, vitality and a quiet mind.
Loosely translated qi (pronounced chee) means life force or vital-energy that flows through all things in the universe. Gong, pronounced gung, means work, accomplishment, or skill that is cultivated through steady practice. When you combine the two, in essence Qigong means working with energy or cultivating energy with continued practice.
Why Qigong Meditation and the Law of Attraction?
Energy
We are all energetic beings and everything in this universe is energy. Remember E=mc2. Everything is energy although most people do not readily experience their reality as energy.
I like to use Qigong meditation because qigong literally means cultivating energy with continued practice. When you practice qigong meditation, you start to experience your world as energy. You also begin to be able to differentiate how you feel. How you feel is an important process for navigating the principles of the law of attraction. When you start to have the ability to differentiate how you feel, you can start the process of mastering the concepts of the law of attraction. Based on the Law of Attraction, how you feel is in direct correlation to your alignment with your desires.
Grounding
The Qigong meditation that I teach and developed focuses a lot on grounding. Our thoughts, conscious and mostly our subconscious thoughts, are the driving force of what creates our reality. Most people do not realize the abundance of thoughts floating around in the head. These thoughts, for most people, are negative thoughts or what I like to term, non-good feeling thoughts. When you can ground yourself, and remain "firmly seated" in the present moment, you no longer become a "victim" of the random thoughts floating around your head.
"When I teach Qigong, I literally stress the concept of getting out of your head and getting in to your body."
Focus & Allow
Learning to focus is also a key component to mastering the law of attraction. What you focus on, is what you get. Most people go from one thought to one thought to one thought continuously throughout the day. They find it challenging to remain focused on one thing at a time.
With continued practice with qigong, you learn to focus, relax and allow.
