Sedona is world-famous for its energy vortexes and is considered one of the strongest energetic places in the world. Thousands of people travel to Sedona every year to experience the energy of the healing vortices. Now having said that, what is a Sedona Vortex? A Sedona vortex is believed to be a place of high spiraling spiritual energy where the conditions are perfect for facilitating healing, meditation and prayer. They are also believed to be places where energy flows on multiple dimensions. Again, thereby facilitating a place of higher healing. # How do the Sedona Vortexes help you to heal? ![Sedona Vortexes and Vibrations](http://www.seekwithinyou.com/images/vibrational-scale-health-400-400.jpg "Sedona Vortexes and Vibrations")Think of yourself as an energy being with levels of vibration. Your predominant vibration is a determinant of your level of health. For instance, if you consistently vibrate at a level of health, we will arbitrarily give that a range of 50 - 100, then you feel good. If you consistently vibrate at a level of non-health, we will give that a number between 0-49, then you will be in a state of dis-ease. Anger, pollution, fear, pain, etc are vibrations in the non-healthy range. The vibrations in Sedona are of the highest level. We will call that 100. That is the highest level that you can reach and the level at which you are considered 100% healthy. 100% healthy is your natural state. When there is any disharmony in your body, such as pain, depression, anger, etc. your body is vibrating at a level lower than 100. In order to "shake off" the lower vibrating energy, you must literally raise your vibration to that of a higher level. Raising your vibration takes time in normal places. In Sedona, where the energy is of a higher vibration, raising your vibration enough to "shake off" the old lower vibrating energy is a quicker process. This is how healing occurs from a simple energetic perspective.
