Spiritual healing has several meanings and definitions. While you may think of spiritual healing from the perspective of you being a patient, we would like to broaden that view to include a more active role from you.
Spiritual Healing - Definition #1
The traditional view of spiritual healing centers on a spiritual healer allowing themselves to be a vector to facilitate the flowing of source spiritual energy through them. This source spiritual energy is then directed towards the client or patient by the hands of the healer.
This source spiritual energy, which is different than our energy, helps the person to heal physically, mental/emotionally, as well as spiritually.
How does it help one to heal?
A simple way to explain the spiritual healing process is to remember that we are all energy and that energy vibrates. When there is any type of disharmony, there is a blockage of energy flow or you can say that your body or mind is not vibrating at the highest level.
Spiritual healing supports the healing process by helping the client surrender to a higher vibrating energy - source spiritual energy - to remove blockages. The exact mechanism by which this happens is beyond explanation but needless to say, it helps you remove energetic blockages to healing so that you vibrate at a higher level.
A higher vibration does not support disharmony.
Note: Reiki, healing hands, pranic healing, and other forms of energy healing work along the same lines as spiritual healing.
Spiritual Healing - Definition #2
When we say spiritual healing, we are referring to coming “home” to your spiritual essence by healing the chasm or gap between your mental/emotional, physical and spiritual essences. You see, you are a spiritual being first and foremost. You are more than the physical body and you also have a mental/emotional aspect to you as well. You can refer to this triad as the mind, body, and spirit.
Most of you, however, do not live your daily lives as if you were more than the physical body. You live a logical, scientific or egoic-centered life as if you were a “machine” and random things happen to them.
As such, you live a life mostly “separated” from the power your spirit offers. As a result, every day that you do not nourish this relationship, the gap increases to the point where it feels as if you were only just the body.
Rest assured though, you can never be truly disconnected from your spirit. It could just get to the point where you feel as if this were the case.
In our teaching, we outline 5 principles to teach you how to close the gap and embrace your spiritual power:
- Embrace your spiritual essence
- Embrace your connection to source
- Master this creative world
- Mold your mind
- Work with source
Note: Explore this article for a deepened understanding of the principles.
When you live your life disconnected from your spirit, you subject yourself to all types of mental/emotional, physical, and spiritual disharmonies. This is because you don’t understand the real truth of why things are happening.
The list of how the disharmonies manifest is endless but includes despair, fear, anger, betrayal, hopelessness, feeling lost, dis-ease, pain, etc.
Unfortunately, you have been trained to believe that science has all the answers. It doesn’t take much research or your own experience to know that science does not have all the answers. If they did, you would not be here reading this article in search of an answer to your disharmony.
Following the 5 principles, we outlined above, results in a deepened connection to your spirit or non-physical source. A deepened connection will give you the answers and guidance from within. That guidance will lead you to a life of peace. That guidance will lead you to a life of well-being.
This is spiritual healing.
Take an active role
We encourage you to take an active role in your spiritual healing. While using the skills of a spiritual healer can help - if you allow it - your healing will only go so far if your thoughts and behaviors do not shift into a new mindset that continues to allow your connection to your spirit.
