Stand grounded in yourself and release attachments. 

 

Attachment can take on many forms. You can be attached to an object, you can be attached to an emotion, you can be attached to other people's expectation, you can be attached to a person, etc. It is these attachments that cause stress and anxiety in your life. The anxiety and stress come from either worrying about how long you can hold on to whatever positive sensations these attachments bring to you or dreading or being worried about the negative sensations that it brings. For instance, if you are attached to someone's high view of you, then every move that you make is clouded with this attachment. You unconsciously or consciously worry about how long they will look at you in such a high esteem.

 

The opposite attachment can also be true. If someone has low regard of you, you can be attached to this feeling as well. In an opposite manner, you resist their expectations of you. You constantly think about it and thereby form an attachment to it. 

 

Let go of this attachment and stand grounded in your true self. Let go and allow your true power to shine. When you ground yourself in your body and let go of the thoughts in your mind, you let go and allow your true light to shine from within. When you release attachments, your mind can open to many more possibilities.
