Law of Attraction Weekly Thought 40

The following is an excerpt from my latest book, Healing and the Law of Attraction

Question

I have been practicing the law of attraction but am not seeing the results I had hoped for in life? Why is it not working for me?

Answer

You must become a vibrational match to that for which you are asking. In this respect, you have to consider your current vibrational level related to whatever you are trying to manifest. If you are trying to manifest health, but your vibrational level is lower than this, then you must raise your vibration to this level.

There are many factors that play a role in your current vibrational level, including beliefs held in your subconscious mind; the focus of your conscious mind; as well as how much doubt, worry, fear, stress, anger, joy, gratitude, laughter etc. you currently have in your life.

Now, of course, it is easy to say you must become a vibrational match. The question is how do you determine what has been the issue with your manifestations? One of the easiest ways is to monitor how you feel throughout the day. This is just to get an idea of how often you disallow. This is not something we advocate you do all the time, unless you are guided to do so from your source.

Exercise to Monitor How You Feel

  1. First, set a reminder to pay attention to how you are feeling. That way you remember to observe.
    • You can put the reminder on your vision board or any place you will see it daily.
    • You can also use technology to remind yourself, i.e. use your smartphone, computer, laptop, mindfulness apps, etc.
  2. At least once a day, do the following:
    • Feeling Bad: when you notice you are feeling bad, pay attention to the thoughts in your mind. Write down in your spiritual journal what you were feeling and what you were thinking. If you did not have any thoughts in your mind, write that down as well.
    • Feeling Good: when you notice you are feeling good, pay attention to the thoughts in your mind. Write down in your journal what you are feeling and what you were thinking. If you did not have any thoughts in your mind, write that down as well.
  3. Do this exercise for at least 2 weeks.

Note: Feeling bad can be emotional in nature, such as frustration, anger, worry, doubt, confusion, etc. It can be physical in nature, such as an upset stomach or pain. It can also be spiritual in nature, such as feeling disconnected or hopeless.

Once you have an idea of what has been holding you back, you can take the steps to raise your vibration. Perhaps your subconscious mind has been been telling a story that is holding you back; you are being too serious; you are focusing too much on it not happening; you are in a tumultuous environment that does not support healing. Whatever it is, once you figure it out, don’t try to force reversing the issue. Work on a steady and continuous approach to the raising of your vibration. Start with a few tips we outlined and then move forward from there. After about a couple of months, return to the above listed exercise and compare how much improvement you have made.
