Visualize for Success

when-you-visualize Visualize for Success - Sedona Retreats

Sometimes when you are not motivated to do something, the best thing to do is to visualize it. Yes, visualize it! When you visualize, you put together all the creative forces to ensure that it will happen in your reality. Visualize it and forget it! Yes, it is just that simple. Let go and allow it. Visualize it on a consistent basis and just let go of it throughout the day.

Life Example

This technique has literally saved me in many respects. I was having a hard time getting into a new routine in my life. I had recently made a big move from Michigan back to Arizona. This new move was very interesting in many respects. To make a long story short, for awhile, I felt I was just spinning my wheels. Eventually I realized that I was not going with the flow anymore. I had gotten out of my solid “law of attraction” routines that had placed me on the journey of moving back to Arizona. I moved back and got “caught up” in life. The good news is that I realized it. I began to just not feel so good. As a result, just like with anything, you make a choice. Do I want to feel good or not? I made the choice that I did, however, I had gotten so far off the beaten path that my motivation was so low it was hard to even think about doing anything.

Well fortunately, I had a firm belief in the law of attraction. I knew if I just visualized myself doing all the things I wanted to do, then it would just happen. I didn’t have to resist it. I didn’t have to make myself “do anything drastic”. I just had to literally, sit back, relax and visualize it.

Because I was visualizing, I knew that in time, the motivation would come. Key things would happen in my life to shift me into getting back into my routine. Now I didn’t know what it would be but I did know that it would feel good and it would be easy. All I had to do was just follow the flow.

Now I am back in the flow again. I am writing regularly and feeling really good. Because I literally pointed my boat upstream by getting out of my routine, I truly understand the importance of routines and the importance of monitoring how I feel. I don’t think I would be able to truly get that, had I not experienced what I did here. It has been great for me because now I know.

Now I also understand that when something major occurs in my life that changes my routines, I have to either re-establish my old routine or establish a new routine. Either way, I have to put the “keys” in place to make sure that I am in alignment with my higher self. Do not take for granted the fact that because you have been meditating or doing a routine for years, that you will always feel in alignment with your higher self. Basically do not get into the habit of believing that you are “good for life” once you have done something for years. All it takes is a steady pointing of your boat upstream and you will get back out of alignment.

Meaning, if you continuously, even on a slower rate then normal, focus on that which is a lower vibration, you will steadily bring things of this similar vibration back into your reality. For instance, let's say you had been at a more peaceful place in your life due to your routine, then due to life changes you “fall off the wagon” and begin to just live life without taking time to meditate or do your normal uplifting routines. After awhile, you start noticing more chaos and conflict in your life. Because you are not meditating or focusing on that which is not chaos or conflict, you begin to start placing your attention on the chaos and conflict that is rebuilding in your life. Over time, that steady focusing on chaos and conflict slowly brings that back into your life. This is what I mean by steadily pointing your boat upstream as Esther Hicks would put it.

Again, the good news is is that you can “let go of the oars” and start flowing downstream by refocusing on meditation and/or your uplifting routine, which will return more peace into your life. Now that is a sigh of relief!
